February has rolled around once again, and with it comes National Children’s Dental Health Month! Every year our office goes to the local school to talk about dental care and give out toothbrushes and floss.

This year we started at Westlawn Elementary School, where our dentist-in-training Chrissy and our office manager Margaret spoke to three kindergarten classes. We always love visiting Westlawn- it is right down the street from our office and the classes always have great questions prepared!

Chrissy shows the kindergarteners the best way to floss their teeth, using some volunteers from the audience as our "baby teeth."

Our next presentations were at St. Francis Borgia. We got to see their brand new school building and speak to the 4th graders in the morning and the 3rd graders in the afternoon. The 3rd graders were having their Valentine’s Day class party and many of the students offered us Valentine’s Day treats, too! What a great community!
